ONYX Grips

These grips work really well for the price point and are fairly comfortable as well. The length and thickness of the padding is also sufficient to ensure comfortable use.

I bought this product mainly for its wrist and grip features. Overall, it’s a good product, but I’d like to share a few observations:
• The wristband isn’t as comfortable as I expected. The metal loop presses against my knuckle, causing some discomfort—likely because I have thin wrists. However, it should ideally fit all wrist sizes without causing any pain.
• I noticed small, fine particles falling out from the Velcro band. These particles are quite sharp and feel like tiny needles when they get into the skin. I’ve had to pick them off several times during use. Hopefully, this issue is only temporary.

On a positive note, the grip is solid, and the cushioning provides good comfort when holding bars or dumbbells. I hope ONYX can consider improving these aspects in future versions.

The grip is quite good but I will likely go back to my old simpler straps, the padding around the wirst is too small and therefore the buckle is pressing into the flesh which make them really uncomfortable. The iron buckle location is quite off overall it lands where most of the pressure on the wirst is when lifting heavy.

I have been using them in the gym whenever I do my pull and push exercises. It’s feels comfortable and easy to slip on and lift compared to the lifting straps that I used to have that I have to wrap around the handle. Quality is good. Recommended
